The boy who meets the monster
This is a digital painting I did based on my story concept of a powerful human warlord who lose eveything to his enemy and was caught and thrown into prison to be fed to wilddogs. This is the resurrected form of the fallen warlord after he made a pact with a demon to be revived to take revenge, under the condition that he dies after that. However the demon changed his mind and decided to give him another chance to live under the condition that he finds someone to serve and protect. But in this painting I am trying to show that the warlord has failed to find that person and had been under this tree for a very long time, perhaps already dead. And one day, a little boy who was playing in the forest stumbles into this monster. Instead of running away he decides to find out what was going on. (The reason why he looks like a beast now is because he took on the form of the dogs that ate him when he was resurrected and the chest the monster has contains the monster's heart which was ripped out from him by the demon when he made the pact for revenge.)
